GeoMine Partner Program

Bring your community to the local spots you love.

Three ways to partner

Pick the track that fits you

  • Creators

    Who it's for

TikTok, Instagram and YouTube accounts, and local food and lifestyle pages. Up to 3 creators per town, each posting one GeoMine video a week.

    What you share

Honest posts about the local spots you visit, with your partner link or code.

    How commission works

A share of what the businesses you refer pay for their first 12 months, plus $0.50 for each qualified user: someone who joins with your code or link, verifies their email and completes 3 visits.

  • Local ambassadors

    Who it's for

Well-connected locals in Fresno, Clovis, Hanford, Visalia and Lemoore. One town captain leads each town.

    What you share

Face-to-face introductions to local shops, flyers and events, with your code.

    How commission works

A referral fee for each business that becomes a paying customer.

  • Community groups

    Who it's for

Schools, PTAs, booster clubs, non-profits and churches.

    What you share

Shop-local campaigns for your members and the businesses that support you.

    How commission works

A referral fee for each business that becomes a paying customer, paid to the organisation, never to an individual.

Rates are listed in the Partner Terms.

How it works

From application to monthly payout

  1. Apply

Tell us about you and your audience. We review every application by hand.

  2. Get your code and links

You get a partner code like MINE-XXXXXX, share links, QR codes and ready-made assets.

  3. Share honestly

Put "#ad" or "Paid partnership with GeoMine" at the start of every post, and turn on the platform's paid-partnership label.

  4. Commission after a hold

You earn a commission when a referred business's payment clears or, for creators, when someone you referred becomes a qualified user. Both wait for a hold period.

  5. Monthly payouts

Payouts run monthly once your approved balance reaches $25. A tax form is needed before the first payout.

What earns a commission

What counts, and what doesn't

Counts

  • Paid business plans (Bronze, Silver and Gold) from businesses you refer, for the first 12 months of each plan
  • Creators: each qualified user, meaning someone who joins with your code or link, verifies their email and completes 3 visits ($0.50 each)

Doesn't count

  • App installs
  • Sign-ups that don't verify their email and complete 3 visits
  • Member plans
  • Free trials
  • Your own purchases, or your own business
  • Refunded or charged-back payments

Business commission is based on what GeoMine actually receives, after app-store fees, taxes and refunds. Self-referrals, fake or duplicate accounts and faked visits never count.

The rules

Rules every partner follows

  • You must be 18 or older and based in the US.
  • It is free to join. No purchase is ever required.
  • One level only: there is no pay for bringing in other partners.
  • Disclose every post: "#ad" or "Paid partnership with GeoMine" at the start, plus the platform's paid-partnership label.
  • No income or earnings claims, and never describe GM Points as money or digital currency. They are promotional points.
  • No spam: no emailing, texting or cold-calling lists.
  • No search ads on "GeoMine", and no coupon or deal sites.
  • No fake reviews, and no paying for reviews.
  • On iPhone your code is for credit only. It gives the person who uses it no discount or bonus.
  • You see totals, never anyone's personal details or locations.
How to disclose, by format
Disclosure requirements by content format
TikTok, Reels and ShortsOn-screen "Ad – paid partnership with GeoMine" at the start, said out loud, the platform toggle on, and "#ad" at the start of the caption.
Long-form YouTubeSay it and show it before the GeoMine segment starts. Tick "includes paid promotion".
LivestreamsDisclose at the start and repeat it, because viewers join mid-stream. Pin a comment or keep a banner on screen.
Podcasts and audioA spoken disclosure at the start of the read, for example "This episode is sponsored by GeoMine, and I earn a commission if you sign up with my code."
Instagram, Facebook and X posts"#ad" or "Paid partnership with GeoMine" in the first line, above the "more" cut, plus the Paid Partnership label.
StoriesDisclosure text on each frame that mentions GeoMine.
Blogs and newslettersA disclosure near the top and next to each link, before the first partner link.
Flyers, events and in personFlyers say "Sponsored by GeoMine". In conversation, mention the partnership when you recommend GeoMine.
Community groups"We receive a payment from GeoMine for each paying customer who joins with our code."

"#partner", "#ambassador", "#sp" or "affiliate link" on their own are not enough.

Partner Program FAQ

Who can apply?
Creators, local ambassadors and community groups who are 18 or older and based in the US. We review every application by hand.
How many creators can join in each town?
Up to 3 per town. If your town is full, we may put your application on the waitlist.
What do creators need to do to stay active?
Post one video about GeoMine each week and log its link on your partner dashboard. If no video is logged for 10 days, your account pauses: new commissions are held, not lost, and it switches back on as soon as you log a new video.
Does it cost anything?
No. The Partner Program is free to join, and no purchase is ever required.
How do payouts work?
Payouts run monthly through Stripe (or PayPal where offered) once your approved balance reaches $25. We need your tax form before the first payout.
When does a commission become payable?
After a hold period that starts when the payment clears. Business commissions also wait for the business's second paid invoice. The Partner Terms list the hold periods.
What if a referral is refunded?
The commission for that payment is reversed. If it was already paid out, it is taken from your next payout.
Do installs or sign-ups count?
Not on their own. Businesses count when they pay for a plan. For creators, a sign-up counts once it becomes a qualified user: the person joined with your code or link, verified their email and completed 3 visits. That pays $0.50. Installs, other sign-ups and trials are tracked on your dashboard but carry no commission.
Can I offer my followers a discount?
Not through your code. On iPhone, discounts can only come through Apple. Your code is for credit only.
What can I see about the people I refer?
Totals only: clicks, sign-ups, qualified users and paid plans. Never names, emails, devices or locations.
Can schools and non-profits join?
Yes. Community groups join as marketing partners, and the referral fee is paid to the organisation, never to an individual.
I run a chamber of commerce. Where do I go?
Chambers, cities and downtown groups have their own program. See Chambers & cities. Go to Chambers & cities
