Made for Main Street

Show up. It counts.

Walk into a participating spot and your phone confirms the visit. GM Points add up while you’re there.

  • A stylist finishes a glossy blowout with a round brush while her client laughs in the salon chair, in warm window light

    Fresh blowout? Visit verified.

Salons and barbers on the map earn GM like any other spot.

  • Three friends laugh over plates of street tacos and agua fresca on a taqueria patio at golden hour

    Taco night counts too.

Your usual taqueria, coffee shop or bakery. No receipts, no codes.

  • An instructor and a student high-five at the end of a class in a bright neighborhood yoga studio while others roll up their mats

    After class, check your wallet.

Yoga, spin or the gym down the street. Every verified visit lands in your GM balance.

    Redeem from 5,000 GM

Example: three verified visits add 5 GM each, taking a balance from 1,240 to 1,255 GM.

Photos are illustrative. GM per visit varies by plan, spot tier and daily caps.

Points in, gift card out

Once you reach 5,000 GM, trade your points for a Prepaid Mastercard® gift card in $5, $10, $25 or $50, emailed by our rewards partner. Plans don’t buy points or cards. See how rewards work.

Rewards & redeeming

Questions, answered

The short version. The full FAQ covers earning, redeeming and your account.

Your location, your call

GeoMine uses your location to confirm you’re at a participating spot: during a session you start, or in the background only if you turn on auto-mining. Switch it off any time. We don’t sell your data.

How we use location
How is GeoMine free?
Local businesses pay a monthly plan to be on the map, and that’s what funds the rewards. Members download and earn for free.
How is my visit verified?
A quick GPS check confirms you’re inside a participating spot while you earn. There’s nothing to scan and no receipt to keep.
What’s a GM Point worth?
1,000 GM = $1 in gift card value. You can redeem from 5,000 GM for a Prepaid Mastercard® gift card. GM Points are promotional credit, not money or crypto.
How much can I earn?
Think of it as a nice bonus on errands you already run: a small gift card now and then, not a paycheck. There’s a daily cap per spot to keep things fair.
Which towns is GeoMine in?
We’re growing town by town in an open pilot. See the towns that are live and the spots in each.
Is this crypto?
No. There’s no token, no blockchain and no wallet to set up. GM Points only turn into gift card rewards.
