Terms of Service

You need a verified email and must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to use GeoMine. You’re responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. One account per person, please.

GM Points are a promotional reward credit we issue. To be clear about what they are — and aren’t:

• They are not money, not a token or cryptocurrency, and have no cash value outside of redeeming for a gift card reward.
• They are not transferable between accounts and can’t be bought, sold, or combined.
• The conversion rate is fixed at 1,000 GM = $1, with a $5 minimum to redeem.
• We may expire long-dormant points or adjust earning rates going forward, with notice.

You earn points for genuine, GPS-verified visits to participating businesses during their open hours. To keep things fair for everyone:

• Earning only runs while you’re physically present and a mining session is active.
• Daily caps apply per spot and per day, and your rate depends on the business’s tier.
• Business rewards — punch card, Power Hour and campaign rewards — are paid for by the business. Every member can receive them, and they don’t count toward the daily earning cap.
• Other bonus GM — such as the weekly goal bonus and weekly leaderboard prizes — is credited when you meet the conditions shown in the app at the time. Some bonuses, such as poll and awards-vote rewards, may be limited to paid memberships when those are offered. We may change, pause or end any bonus at any time.
• Refer a Business — you earn GM Points only when a business you refer signs up with your code and pays for its first plan within 60 days, as shown in the app. Friend-to-friend invite bonuses have ended; referrals applied before October 30, 2026 keep the rules in place when they were applied.
• We may withhold or reverse points we believe were earned through error, abuse, or fraud.

You can redeem points for a Prepaid Mastercard® gift card ($5, $10, $25, or $50) — a virtual prepaid Mastercard. The card is sent to your verified account email address; our rewards partner Tango Card, Inc. (part of Blackhawk Network) emails it to that address, normally within 3 business days. Please check your spam folder for an email from Tango / Rewards Genius. A few guardrails keep redemptions safe:

• A verified account email and a 7-day account age are required before your first redemption, and early redemptions may be reviewed for fraud.
• A rolling $599 per 365 days limit per person, and one redemption per 24 hours.
• Keep your account email up to date — once a card has been sent we can’t re-send it to a different address.
• We may cancel a redemption we reasonably believe is fraudulent; if we do, the points are returned to your account.
• Once issued, cards are governed by the card issuer’s terms and are generally non-refundable.

Subscriptions change how fast you earn points from verified visits and unlock bonus GM; they don’t buy points or gift cards.

Please use GeoMine honestly. You agree not to:

• Spoof, fake, or simulate your GPS location, or use emulators or automation to earn.
• Create multiple or fake accounts, or earn at a business without genuinely visiting.
• Interfere with the service, attempt to breach security, or scrape data.

Breaking these rules can result in reversed points, a suspended account, or removal from the program.

If you list a business, you confirm you’re authorized to represent it. Subscriptions are billed monthly for your chosen tier after any free trial, and you can cancel anytime — your listing simply ends at the close of the billing period. You’re responsible for the accuracy of your hours, location, and any push notifications, Power Hours, or events you publish.

Ad wallet credit. Businesses can prepay promotion credit (“ad wallet”) on our website. Credit, including any bonus credit, can only be spent on GeoMine promotions, has no cash value, and is non-refundable — it can’t be cashed out or returned to your card. If GeoMine cancels a promotion you paid for with credit, we return that credit to your wallet.

GeoMine is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted service, specific earning amounts, or that every business will always be available. Rewards are a bonus on activity you’d do anyway — not income.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GeoMine and its team aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the past 12 months or $100. Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limits, so parts may not apply to you.

We may update these terms as the product grows; we’ll revise the date above and notify you of material changes. You can stop using GeoMine and delete your account anytime. We may suspend or end accounts that violate these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which GeoMine Business Analytics LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts having jurisdiction in that state, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
