Rewards budget
Buy points once, spend them on every reward you give.
Your Rewards budget is one prepaid balance of GeoMine Points that pays for every bonus your business gives: your punch card and your automated campaigns (welcome, visit milestone and win-back rewards). You buy points on the website, decide how they are spent, and you can see every point that goes out.
How it works
- 1
Buy points once
Top up on the website: $1 = 1,000 points, plus a 20% service fee shown as its own line ($10 of points costs $12).
- 2
Spend them on rewards
Your punch card and automated campaigns both pay from the same balance.
- 3
Get a heads-up
When the balance runs low you get one email and app notification, before anything stops.
- 4
Optional auto top-up
Switch it on and we refill your budget from your card on file when it drops below your warning level.
Why it helps
- Prepaid and capped — you never get a surprise bill.
- Rewards only go to GeoMine Plus and Pro members, so none of your budget is spent on Free members.
- See what went where: punch card vs. campaigns, plus a full history.
Good to know
- If the budget can’t cover a reward, the punch card pauses (members keep their progress) and campaign rewards are skipped until you top up.
- Auto top-up is off by default, runs at most once a day and charges at most $300 in 30 days. If a charge fails, it switches itself off and tells you.
- Each campaign reward is 1 to 1,000 points. You and your staff never receive your own rewards.
- Member polls, Power Hour packs and event budgets are priced separately and don’t use your Rewards budget.
Questions
What does a reward cost me in dollars?
1,000 points = $1 of budget. A 100-point reward costs 10 cents of budget (12 cents with the service fee).
Can I buy on the app?
Top-ups happen on the GeoMine website. The app shows your balance and what’s been spent.
